One of my parakeets went to the great birdcage in the sky yesterday. I noticed he wasn't eating on Sunday morning and was roosting on the lower rung of the wooden ladder that I keep in the cage. He also wasn't shying away like he usually does when I put my hand inside the cage to drop seed into their feeding dish. So, I pet him a few times on his head (which he never let me do before) because I knew he wouldn't be alive when I came back. When I returned home on Sunday evening, he was on the bottom of the cage. I cleaned him out but the other parakeet doesn't seem to notice his friend is gone. They've lived together for over a year and my one remaining parakeet's still eating and flitting around the cage as if nothing happened. Insensitive bastard.
it might of died of a fatty tumor... it looks fat and really fuguly
